The internet monster that is Kotaku is running a post that refers to a (now removed under threat of ninja-lawyer-death) mention by EA via IGN that a product called “Skate It” is in the works.

Skate It will be a “spin off” game for the Nintendo DS and Wii with the possiblity of support for the new Wii-fit Balance Board too.

I suggest they read my Skate DS posting for ideas, then turn the Wii-Mote into a fingerboard and let us play like that!

Finger Fracture is a concept for a new game for the iPhone and iPodTouch from Vans that uses the devices unique touchscreen to control the skateboarder.

Using two fingers moved in different ways and combinations, you can perform various tricks and move the skateboarder around the various levels.

It is yet to be seen if this is a good new skateboarding game with a new control not seen before on a mobile device or a marketing tool for Vans to sell more shoes and clothing! If the project gets off the ground we will be one of the first to let you know!
