A brief Skate 2 wishlist has been posted over at Danne’s EA Skate Blog and covers most of what I have already thought could be included in the next version of the game. There has also been a few good posts at the UK EA Skate Forum on the same subject.
- Recover bad fall
This would be a nice addition – but maybe just a few more animations might be good. Rather than falling on your face all the time, perhaps put out your hands to stop yourself mashing those new bling encrusted dentures you just had fitted. - Skateboard Wreck Engine
The possibility that you might break your deck in half after plummeting 20 stories from the top of the nearest multi-story car park sounds like a good idea. But what happens if you break a kingpin (we have all done it) and then have no cash to get a new one? A shelf stacking mini-game perhaps? - Walking
This has to be my biggest peeve with the game at the moment. Trying to skate up or through small and tight areas is a real pain sometimes. Especially when you hit a little bump and it turns you round! - Hand Plants
Well. For me this is not a real big one to add to the next game. I still have not got the real hang of pumping the transition anyway enough to do a handplant. Perhaps Skate is more of a “street skating” game? It seems that way to me. I expect darkslides are more requested!
I suppose you could add a few more to the list such as
- Uploaded video issues
This has been a real pain with various people not being able to link their gamertags or find their videos. I have uploaded 2 videos and have never found them. However, it does have something to do with the fact that the email address I use for XBox Live is no longer a valid address! But that’s another story. - Video editor
More camera angles please! Free cam would be great. Tony Hawks Proving Ground seems to have a slightly better selection of camera shots to choose from. - More hair!
A silly one really – but more choices during the whole ”Create A Skater” section would be cool.

great game and love every minute of it, as for part 2 whenever they make it, id like a little freestyle flatland stuff like rodney mullins stuff, but no biggie. also would like to see a bike game from ea mayb with the flick it controls and graphics of some realism ofcourse:)
A bmx game would be odd with flickit controls.

well i have a few… such as 360 flipping hold the last direction as to a double, triple, and quad kickflip to keep rotating. professionals can consistently land things as you start the game it should have a percentage to land a trick. getting off the board. more scratch details on the board. wheels wearing down. breaking bones and staying broken and going to the hospital to pay bill for replacement. breaking parts on boards. more demos. more companies. take out deathrace everyone hates it its a big old stomp on my nuts sack to beat them. getting knocked out. people in cars yelling stuff out there window(talking shit like yelling skater fagg) like that happens to every skater. getting road rash. shoes wearing away from skating. instead of xgames have more big events like dew tour all 5 stops, tampa pro, tampa am and having to buy airline tickets to the events. free rotation camera for skate video. being able to make a full skate video rather then a clip (saving numerous amounts of clips and adding together to create a skatevideo.) more sponsorships. being able to design a pro model. instead of doing a “flip trick to grind” and “4000 points” for the challenge make it “360 flip to lip slide down a handrail” more specific because whenever i couldnt find a spot i could just do the things they wanted on flat ground like grabs and everything. make a map marker for your favorite spots along side of own the spot.

in need of all they said, + night and day, because it was preddy lame that every time i play the sun is at its highest point, they should have a system like tony hawk american wasteland where the lighting changes, but better, add things so for example, you skate at like three oclock ( rush hour) and its like really busy, then at night its like preddy vacant at skateparks and stuff. more skateparks! that are like realistic not like D.I.Y, tho it did rock……

mayb a marker system so u can mark good spot that arent on the map like exaple if u find a 16 set in the middel of nowhere u can set a marker to make sure u can find ur way back to it
i love the way the theme to this game goes tho i’m excited to play threw the story

i dont skate anymore but i was good, know geoff rowley an andy scott alex moul still people like that i skated for years was sponsered so i think i know what im talking bout, also when me an mates(other skaters) used to play tony hawk we would say we need a more realistic skate game, along came ea skte to fill the gap. wicked but i think a good addition would be…
you know if your in a little space and need speed you can run holding the nose of your board throw it on the ground and jump on it so your. already at running speed, no need for pushing as much…and works if your in a tight space.. that needs to be in skate 2 rather than the 3 push to speed thing. more tricks aswell, flips and grinds are a bit limited.
and more clothes maybe a hue slider like tony hawk to colour the clothes yourself. and a sponsor change opportunity would be nice. more spots to skate online.
and a snowboard game with the flickit controls like skate.
better online contests. more like real contests more people watchin online and timed skatepark runs etc. plus prizes, some elite clothes or decks wheels etc that can only be won in online contest, rare items kinda thing.
Tom Penny should be one of the pros in the game because he defenetly has THE SICKEST STYLE IN SAKTEBOARDING, plus that he has been around skateboarding for over a decade: In other words, he is a LEGEND that really deserves it!
Anyway.. i thing that the most important features that need to be in Sakte Two is walking, the ability to climbe up to rooftops, jump over fences and so on. in this way you can access a lot of cool and creative spots. I also would have been cool to place as many session markers as you wish from the map, and also access them the map as well. This would remove some of the sometimes annoying experience of finding a awsome spot, but you don’t know how to find it again.
An other thing that would have been great is to have more camera angles. both in gameplay, and in the replay section.
There needs to be walking for sure to get up those stair sets and make it so you can fuck up your board and shoes and snap your boards. more companys and more pros like erik ellington and bryan herman and a bunch of other shit stuff!
There needs to be dolphin flips.
i think that there should be more newer pro skaters like ryan sheckler bam magera mike valley and all the old skaters is well deffintly put in rondny mullen more events and make it like youre pore and then get richer and be come a pro skater i wont to be able to walk more brands and sponsers like element birdhouse make story much better and longer i would like to have your own house and a big garage to build your own skate park in there and you can invite youre frieands over way better skate parks i mean come on all those ather skate parks are shit make people came and wacth you skate your board can break and you should be able to travil around the world to skate once you get famouse and a bigger city iswell thanks by

ya, i saw the gameplay vid and it has every thing you mentioned, im reallly stoked for it, and its a whole new san van!!! its gonna be tight
i think that you should have to distribute your weight like when you ollie into a bank because if you dont it doesnt for you and i dont think it should do that
also it would be easer to do bluts and tail stalls

More contests, more hidden (own a) spots, more cities would be great.
The Idea of the Guest-board (Krooked) after oqning all spots is cool idea,
but a real own design would be amazing…means your sponsor should offer you a pro custom model with your own design…

that woud be amazing if like drive on the game and beat up security gurds and if a person gets in ur way u can get off the board and hit then with it lol . and when that person ur playing with falls doing a trick he breaks his leg and u can see the bone sticking out , and improveing there ollies and stuff with a better imbact so u can do biger things and breaking there boards and when the board is broken they have to drive to the skateshop and get a new one , and better grinds and realistick falls , the shoes rip up when u skate alot so make it beast as poop
