Here is a great video by Jarnoum featuring not just his skills with Skate 2, but also with the Sony Vegas video editing program.  I think that this is where the future of editing together digital skate videos will be:

Some top class skating + some top class “filmer pack” editing + some top class final editing

Other software like Adobe After Effects or, if you are really rich an AVID system, will do wonders for the final output of the video. Think that extra mile.  Get out your old skate videos and DVDs and have a look see at the camera angles and the tricks they use to get the best shots – then go make a video.

Running the camera into the ground as featured in the seminal How to use the Skate 2 filmer pack like the Pros video my EASkateTV is getting a bit old hat now.  Lets see something new!

In addition to the already mega popular Filmer Pack, EA are going to release 2 wedges of Downloadable Content (DLC) for the Xbox 360 version of Skate 2.

I hope this signals a move on EA’s part to right the wrongs of Skate 1 and keep on releasing new updates on a regular basis (until Skate 3!).

DLC 1 consists of “Rob Drydek’s Fantasy Plaza”.
Rob has designed you an amazing skate plaza to play in.  It is nothing fantastic – very flat looking and not much to speak of.

DLC 2 is the “San Van Classic Pack”.
This awesome downloadable pack gives you 3 of the best locations from Skate 1!

• The elementary school
• The Parkade
• The Community Centre

Both of the DLC’s will be usable in ALL game modes of Skate 2 and will be released a week apart.  You will also be able to move all of the benches and items in the locations which will be very interesting.

Personally, I will be getting the “San Van Classic Pack” as the Drydek park looks a bit boring to bo honest.  Also, the school yard in Skate 2 is pretty pants.

This just has to be the best Skate 2 video I have seen so far.

The quality of the Skate 2 vids are getting so much better since the release of the Skate 2 filmer pack which allows you to have better cameras and more effects.
